Men and Nicknames

I got an email a few weeks ago that had this little tidbit in it:

If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy,  Bubba, and Wildman.

This was affirmed by Wilson when he told me about a friend of his.  This friend is tall, thin, and quiet.  But neither Wilson nor his minions call this friend by his real name.  They call him Lil Fatty, Pinkie, or The Thieving Sloth.  Do guys intentionally try to insult each other with these names, or are these compliments?  The world of women may never know…

Yet another example of how men and women are so different!  I mean this in a good way of course…God made us different for a reason.  But that doesn’t mean that we understand each other!

Men have their nicknames, women have their long heartfelt conversations, but it all works out in the end.
